Cyberpunk 2077, a new RPG game from Projekt Red CD, has been delay again, this time 2 months from the previous release date. It should have been released on September 17, now the new release date of Cyberpunk 2077 is November 19, 2020. This has been the postponement of the second release by CDPR. Cyberpunk 2077 should have been released in April this year, but it was postponed for 5 months because the developer wanted to “make the game as perfect as possible.” This second delay has the same reason, to tidy up the game from all potential technical problems. Through the pictures that they shared to various social media, CDPR wrote that they will only release the game when “it’s ready” and don’t want to be rushed by the schedule they promised. They explained that the game was basically finished in terms of content, but they asked for an additional time back to ensure all features and content were balanced and also ready as they should. With the scale of the game and also the large map, they also have a lot to “tidy up” before release.

The second delay was a very heavy decision from CDPR, but this is not the first time that the Polish studio has repeatedly postponed the game they are developing. The Witcher 3 also experienced a similar situation, but the end result was that the game became one of the favorite RPGs of many gamers and was still popular and recommended even 5 years after its release.
In the announcement of the postponement of this game, CDPR also reminded gamers that they will show new gameplay on the 25th of June through Livestream. Hopefully, the gameplay can satisfy the curiosity of gamers about how the game has progressed so far.
